Principle

This website is deliberately built to collect as little as possible. There are no tracking services, no analytics tools, no advertising networks and no social media plugins. No fonts, scripts or images are loaded from third-party servers — your browser talks to this server only.

Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits: typically browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the request and the IP address. This data is not merged with other sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in operating the site securely and without technical faults.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the details you enter — name, email address, subject and message — are sent to me by email in order to answer your enquiry. They are not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Messages remain in my mailbox until that purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligation prevents deletion.

Cookies and local storage

Only technically necessary values are stored:

• lang — a cookie remembering your chosen language for one year.
• theme — a browser local-storage entry remembering the light or dark colour scheme. This value never leaves your device.

Both exist purely for your own convenience and require no consent under § 25 (2) TDDDG. You can delete either at any time through your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21). An informal message to the email address above is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses transport encryption for security. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar starting with “https://”.
